Heritage Open Days

 

The Three Solway Churches (St Michael's Burgh-by-Sands, St Mary's Beaumont and St Michael's Bowness-on-Solway) take part in the national Heritage Open Days scheme. 

 

All three offer a steward to welcome visitors and show them round if required. Trained guides are also on duty at St. Michael’s Burgh-by-Sands.

Heritage Open Days 2023

St. Michael’s Church, Burgh-by-Sands (11am to 3pm Friday 8th September, St Mary's Beaumont (11am to 3pm Saturday 9th September), and St. Michael’s Church, Bowness-on-Solway, (10am to 3pm Sunday 10th September) are all looking forward to welcoming visitors under the Heritage Open Days project.   Guided visits to all churches will be available.  Burgh Church has disabled access and WC facilities,
